Hi, I'm Jay Howe

I am a full time professional Metal Detectorist. I travel the world digging and diving for lost treasure, artefacts coins and relics.

I also offer a free location search service in which I will try and attempt to locate your lost keys, jewellery or whatever in your garden, beach. park wherever.

 

I once located a piece of shrapnel in a guys leg to settle a bet in a local pub.  Although I will search for free, If I am required to use any Scuba gear, there will be a small fee to recover the cost of filling my air bottles.

I served as a soldier in the British Army for a little under 12 years .  I that time I was in the Royal Corps of Transport, 3rd Battalion The Queens Regiment and finally 2nd Battalion the Princess of Wale's Royal Regiment on amalgamation.

I have a very keen interest in history and enjoy researching the areas and finds. Great Britain is the provable treasure Island as every man from the Pict's, Celts, Romans and Normans right they way through to modern day tourists have all visited here at some time.

I have made some significant finds during my career, the largest being 4,153 Roman Coin Hoard which was dated back to the late 3rd early 4th Century AD.

 

I am an advanced Scuba diver, trained in wreck diving, search and recovery. I have over 100 logged dives from various locations.

I am currently writing a book about Battlefield Relics- Keep an eye on the web site for details.

Hello I am Paul White

I drive a bus for Stagecoach during the week and buy and sell Militaria on the week ends.  Please take a look at the fairs page to see where I am next.  I quite often accompany Jay on his adventures treasure hunting and spend a lot of time scouring the flea markets of Europe when Jay is off digging with his cronies.  I have been in sales for most of my adult life and strongly believe in the motto "Service not self".  I am an advanced Scuba diver specialising in underwater photography and night diving.

I have a wife and child on the Island of Cebu in the Philippines. I try and visit them 3-4 times a year.  My wife is always speaking to locals in an attempt to locate more US & Japanese relics and the odd early Spanish pieces.

Hiya I'm Bella

I joined Dugup after the Colonel died in November 2006.  It is my job to transport Jay and Paul where ever the digs and deals command them.

I am equipped with living quarters and storage for the many pieces of specialist kit required for each search.  Look out for me on the Adventures pages and if you see me on the road give me a toot !
